All MHS parts should have the threads wiped clean and then lightly oiled or greased. We sell some Synthetic Grease for this. Parts that get stuck because no oil/grease was used or that are damaged by the user trying to take them apart will not be warrantied.

Great for what it is
Works excellent with 22ga 1.25 sink tube. Used these on a pair as gifts for relatives. You can hide the transition area well with properly placed O-rings. Good idea for using sink tube as a body purposefully, but if you are using sink tube as a low cost alternative, you would be better suited to just use an MHS body instead. Not enough cost savings buying this and a sink tube vs. buying a standard MHS body to warrant doing so unless you factor in an MHS pommel.

Nice piece, gives a sink tube saber a whole new look. Just to point out if you are going to use one of these with a pommel, most battery holders will not fit through due to the small inner diameter, which is 1 inch by the way.
