As always, I am super happy with the purchases that I make from here. The quality of the work is beyond excellent. Except in this case. Upon unwrapping this piece 3 of the 10 rubber strips (at the ends) were coming up. Two more of them peeled off when adding it to the main part of the hilt. A simple few turns and I found myself wondering why it looks good but did not function. The way to fix this was a trip to the local hardware store and doing a little work of my own to make this purchase worthwhile. In the end I was able to accomplish the task, and it seems to be holding. I however will be more mindful in the future of pre-installed rubber grips on anything I buy.
