These do not come pre-drilled for a blade retention screw. We do offer a service to add one in the services section.
All MHS parts should have the threads wiped clean and then lightly oiled or greased. We sell some Synthetic Grease for this. Parts that get stuck because no oil/grease was used or that are damaged by the user trying to take them apart will not be warrantied.

This is a great starter component. Looks basic and clean. Add a shroud and it looks even better.

I am a big fan of this blade holder. Its great for a stater project, and adds dimention to any elaborate project. Used in combonation with the MHS sleeve material, you have an infinate number of options.

not only is this a great selection for the starter builders. but i find it to be a fantastic mod-able peace for the more avast builders as well. few holes. fluted cuts brazing a peace or 2 on it and you can make a very nice custom blade holder! all at a price that beats them all!
