Product great, shipping company not so much
Great product if you’re in need of foam for a blade build, this will work great for the 3mm or so blades with the standard pixel strip. Makes the light pretty even and looks great when done. The only downside is make sure to order with a blade so it’s protected because this is the second one I ordered(first through TCSS) and this time around I didn’t order with a blade and UPS decided that a box that feels light as a feather is perfectly ok to bend in 4 spots and ruin my foam so it’s now unusable in this blade build so I have to order again and this time I will make sure it’s in a blade to keep it in good shape. So learn from my mistake and get a blade even if you don’t need one, it keeps the shipper from destroying your items
Most Impressive!
I'm working on a DIY pixel blade with a 1" thick wall tube, and this foam does a really good job of diffusing a 144 LED/M strip. A doubled up 12mm wide strip will be a little snug inside the foam (I had to slowly squish the foam down the length of the strip), but I had no problem getting it into the polycarbonate tube once the LEDs were in. Overall I'm much more satisfied with this product than previous attempts to make my own diffuser, absolutely stunning!
