The top cap has an 8-32 threaded hole to install a 8-32 screw. Either as replacements or for accent pieces. Different cap and screw-in options are planned in a future release. A covertec thumb screw is shown in the pictures as an example but is not included.
The polycarbonate portion is 1.5" in length.
Install in blade holder while blade is removed to lessen the chance of hurting someones eyes.
