I have used several of these. They fit quite nicely in the large end of a 1.25" sink tube with slight modification to the battery holder (sold separately). A great deal for nearly an entire chassis.

Excellent chassis system with a caveat

My saber design included a recharge port in the pommel. In order to route the wires, I cut away some of the arc of the lip that holds the module in place when everything is screwed together. Then, as I had 3 wires from the port and 2 wires from the speaker, I took a dremel tool to the area immediately under the battery holder so as not to crimp things too much. Without any of that "Tube Guard" material, I used a bit of standard pharmacy pill bottle to hold it all in place. This is an excellent module to use, but your mileage may vary depending on your design.

Great Speaker Holder

Speaker/battery/sound card holder is an awesome piece to use. Having everything in one convenient set-up is a great idea. Just remember to order the battery holder that goes in it separately. I made the mistake of not ordering the holders now I gotta place an other order. ahh well you live and you learn...happy building!
