Soft round grips???

I purchased 10 of these and used 9 of them. I put one on each side of a guarded switch. From one side of switch all the way around to the other I ended up with about 1/4 of an inch in between each grip. However if you look at my post of the saber you will see a larger gap of 11/16 on switch side. I suppose if I used all 10 and placed them below the switch they would be even at about 1/4 of an inch all the way around. The edges are not all smooth. I applied them and then taped them around the hilt to add pressure for a good stick. I do notice some slight movement which appears to be just the stretching of the adhesive. I know my hilt gets hot so it may be softening the adhesive. These are much more comfortable than the other ones here. They compare to the grip on a Mace Windu hilt. I would buy these again. I think next saber I may try the milled slots and the ones for those.
