i really dont like it. it does make noise, your hilt sticks out at an odd angle away from you body at the blade holder due to it being centered on the pommel....which looks rather tacky, its difficult to attach to your belt hook with the ring being as small as it is and how much it flops around, its difficult to remove since you have to swing the hilt out and up before you have enough clearance to slip it off the hook, it was difficult to install with the 1/4 inch nuts, and it causes you hilt to swivel around....mostly because of loose machining tolerances. honestly, i should have purchased the kobold d ring now that ive owned this insert for a while. mostly because the kobold ring lays flat against the rear grip which allows your saber to lay flat against your leg, your hilt dont rotate and to remove the hilt, its only a matter of lifting it straight up. i would not recommend this product.

Great part, but it is a little noisy. I wrapped electrical tape around the flat, and it worked wonders.

The "D" ring is a little loud when you swing your saber around, but looks and functions great. Also you can change the "D" ring if you like!
