I just used my first, and I love it. A 1.25" hilt is perfect for smaller hands. But I'm glad I ordered two, since it's out of stock already. This product seems to go out of stock pretty regularly. Perhaps that's a reflection of its popularity. On the other, maybe it's a sign that demand is small, so Tim only makes them in small batches. Whatever the reason, I'd love to see this in stock more consistently, particularly since I love in Japan, where there are plenty of small-handed female "cosplayers" who would be glad to have a small lightsaber to go with their Jedi costumes.

This holder is absolutely perfect for the 1.25'' sink tubes! The way the holder is machined for the heatsink is just brilliant! The little allen screws go in without any trouble and keep the heatsink in place.

I agree wholeheartedly with Novastar - this LED/blade holder is fantastic. It is a well thought out piece and is perfect for building smaller diameter sabers. I've used this blade holder on quite a few builds in the past, and have always had good experiences.

This has got to be my favorite item out of the store. The small screws for affixing the heatsink... the OD size of the heatsink being almost as small as the LED... it's great. Also, the ability for it to be attached to a 1.25" sink tube (instead of just a 1.5" tube) is great for many reasons. With the exception of the heatsink being finned... this product is perfect! Why should it not have fins? Well, since there isn't much airflow on a saber's heatsink... it will one day be even nicer if the sink is just a "slug" of metal or copper. Great stuff though... absolutely great for saber makers of many kinds! --Novastar
