Adapts the screw on pieces of the Modular Hilt Kits so they can be used with a 1.5" sink tube. Has 4 pre-drilled and tapped 8-32 holes that you can use to mount it. These are designed to be used with the 1.5" 22 gauge sink tubes we offer.
All MHS parts should have the threads wiped clean and then lightly oiled or greased. We sell some Synthetic Grease for this. Parts that get stuck because no oil/grease was used or that are damaged by the user trying to take them apart will not be warrantied.

Just what I needed
I purchased my sink tube without thinking about how I was going to build my saber. This little adapter took my simple hardware store saber to the next level. So happy with the quality.
Other adaptations...
Unlike others, I didn't actually use this for adapting to a sink tube. I used it to adapted to a faux-ivory rod. I lathed down the part of the rod that fit inside the adapter, dropped screws in to keep it in place, and lookie that... a smooth, constant width from the emitter down the length of my naginata shaft! As with all TCSS parts, it's beautifully machined, and nicely functional.
LIFE SAVER!!!!
REALLY!, This was the missing link to a fully functional saber I can be proud of and SHOW OFF. Battled with my saber and every thing holds up well... VERY NICE Don't build a sink tube with out it LOL.
nice fit
holy crap this thing is *tight*. and i mean tht literally. i had to put a bit of effort into it and force it on. heh....i wont even have to put screws in it cus its so tight. way to go on the tolerances. 健康のライフ 単独で歩く人 (kenkoo no raifu -tandoku de aruku hito-) (good health much life -man who walks alone-)
Beware the Gauge
This part worked exactly like it was supposed to. An incredibly useful item to have for either a scratch build or emergency improvisation. Mix 1 part adapter to 1 part sink tube, add electronics, shake, and serve. Instant saber, almost. (you get the idea) The one thing I would say with this is to make sure you have the correct gauge sink tube. There are 2 common gauges available at your local DYI/supply shop; 20 ga & 22 ga. This adapter is designed to fit the thinner 22 gauge tubing. It will not fit the 20 ga. It's too thick. You'll need to sand/grind down either the tube or the adapter. TCSS knows what they're selling and carry the correct gauge tube. If you buy from elsewhere just make sure to check the gauge.
